RN to EMT bridge is a program that allows licensed RNs and advanced healthcare providers to bypass the traditional 200+ hour EMT course by taking supplemental training followed by successful completion of the NREMT Psychomotor Skills Exam and Cognitive Exam
Who is Eligible?
DOH / DHA Registered Nurse with valid license with good standing certificate with minimum work experience of 2 years in Ambulance / ER / ICU / CCU
Other Certification Required?
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NAEMT PHTLS
Certifying Body:
1. AREMT (Australian Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
2. SEAPHECC (South East Asia Pre Hospital Emergency Care College)
Duration of Program:
7 weeks OR 49 Days
Class Schedule Three times a week spread in 3 months + 7 Days consecutive for practice & skill testing at Allied.

Program Outline:
Program will be completed onsite in the classroom. Courses are comprised of lecture and
lab instruction. Some online coursework is also required, which is performed offsite. To
successfully meet course completion requirements, be prepared to commit extra time
outside of the classroom.

Benefits
To qualify and get your EMS International certification, the candidate must pass both the cognitive exam
AND the psychomotor exam. Before taking the practical exam, they need to contact AREMT course
instructor to walk him through the steps of scheduling his course and exam.
The candidate will receive the below upon successful completion:
* Registry eCard
* EMT Transition Certification – Qualification
* CME certification if required

Fee Structure
6500 AED for the course training includes the Certificate of course completion and the AREMT registration.
Registration fee of 1500 AED – remaining balance will be in 4 monthly basis payment of 1375 AED
